1. What this is

Mansana Español (spanish.mansana.com.ar) is a marketplace that connects students with independent Spanish teachers based in Argentina for one-to-one online classes. The service is operated by Changsis LLC (USA). We are the platform — the classes themselves are delivered by the teachers.

2. Classes, credits and payments

Each teacher sets a US-dollar price for a single class and may optionally offer a 5-class pack, a 10-class pack, or both. Pack classes can only be used with the teacher who sold that pack. One class credit = one 60-minute class; a 30-minute class uses half.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. The charge appears as MANSANA.COM.AR on your statement.
Unused pack classes don't expire. If something went wrong, write us within 30 days of purchase. Refund eligibility depends on unused classes, payment status, and when a booked class was cancelled; contact us and we will review the transaction.
Need to cancel or move a class? Use the cancellation option or contact us before the class begins. A completed, attended, or already-started class is not restored as unused credit.

3. Teachers are independent professionals

Teachers on Mansana are independent contractors, not employees, agents or representatives of Mansana or Changsis LLC. They set their own availability, prices, optional pack offers and teaching methods. Teachers become eligible to request payout after accumulating at least US$100 in completed-class earnings that have not already been paid. A pack purchase is not earned teaching income until its classes are completed.

Para los profes (ES): Los profesores de Mansana son profesionales independientes — no empleados. Vos definís tus horarios, tarifa, packs opcionales de 5 o 10 clases y forma de enseñar. Podés pedir el cobro por Mercado Pago o USDT cuando acumulás al menos US$100 en clases completadas y todavía no pagadas. Comprar un pack no genera ganancia retirable hasta que das sus clases. Mansana no te cobra comisión sobre tu tarifa. La relación es de locación de servicios, no de dependencia.

4. Classes are transcribed (not recorded)

To power your learning notes, classes are transcribed live: what is said becomes text used to generate class notes, vocabulary, flashcards and your learning profile. Audio and video are not recorded or stored — only the text transcript. Both participants see a notice in the classroom.

5. Privacy

Account: you sign in with Google; we store your name, email and profile photo.
Learning data: your level, goals, difficulties, preferred explanation language, optional current focus, class transcripts and notes. This private learning profile follows you across teachers for continuity. It is never public; a teacher receives only the authorized learning brief needed to teach you and their own relationship history with you.
Emails: transactional emails (confirmations, reminders, receipts) are sent via Brevo from [email protected].
Payments: handled by Stripe under their privacy policy.
We don't sell your data. Ever. To delete your account and data, email [email protected] and it's done within 30 days.

6. Fair use

Be decent in class. No harassment, no recording other participants, no using the classroom for anything other than language learning. We can suspend accounts that break this.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We're not liable for outages of third-party services (Google, Stripe, your internet).

8. Changes & law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email. These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
